
Rahab Volunteers are an essential part of the Rahab Team.
Margaret and Paul MacGregor,
are from New Zealand, Margaret is a hairdresser of 40 years and has come to assist managing in the Rahab Beauty Salon.
Her role includes training the women in hairdressing skills and she has also been teaching English. She is also part
of the outreach team that goes into the bars each week. Margaret has a phenomenal ability to endear herself to the
women who know her as "mummy ". Paul was a pastor in New Zealand. He is responsible for liasing with
foreigners wishing to visit Rahab. Paul also prepares promotional material and powerpoints and is available to
speak to churches and groups internationally on invitation.
Alex and Sarah van Meygaarden are also from New Zealand. Alex taught secondary school in New Zealand
before joining Rahab Ministries in Thailand. His main responsibility at present in Rahab is as accountant and book
keeping in the office; and general handyman both at the office in Patpong and Rahab House. Sarah's background is
in Mental Health nursing and she holds a Bachelor of Counseling. She is part of the Outreach team and is responsible
for prayer bulletins, gathering information for the newsletters and all communication for Rahab Bazaar.
Both Alex and Sarah are House Parents at Rahab House and really enjoy being part of the Rahab family.
